Disappointing Products | March 2019

I hate and love these posts because when I read them I’m out off buying them and can figure out of they would work or not for me. But writing them is so shit because you have spent your hard earned money on products that really didn’t live up to expectations. Or we’re down right crappy…screw being diplomatic!

No7 Powder Blush (Honey) – Let me stress this, this isn’t a bad product. It just doesn’t work for me. It is a very pale nude pink shade, and it simply isn’t enough for me. It hardly shows up on my skin tone and I like a heavy blush! So this is going in a little bag for my sister as I know she will love it! She loves a more subtle blush! I have her MAC Well Dressed for the same reason.

First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Priming Moisturiser – This is a beautiful product. Lightweight, primes and moisturises and smells so good. Only problem is it broke me out terribly. And I have read other bloggers have had the same problem with this. And it’s such a shame as it feels lovely. I just can’t justify the pimples.

Barry M All Night Long Full Coverage Concealer – Three words; Not. Full. Coverage. It is such a light coverage! It barely covered my veins and redness on my eyes. It is a nice texture, but it just doesn’t do enough for my undereyes. And I heard good things about this product but I’m gutted it looked so meek in pigmentation!

The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Bouncy Eye Mask – Now if you remember my Winter Skincare Routine, this was mentioned as a good eye cream. But my god this bitch stings. I got really bad eczema on my eyes in January, and I couldn’t use this anymore. It stung so bad. Even when applying a light layer. And looking back it did always tingle a bit. But never like that, it just aggravated my skin and made me so red under my eyes. Might work better in the summer when I’m looking for a cooling relieving eye cream rather than a hydrating one!

Omorovicza The Queen of Hungary Mist – This isn’t a bad product. It’s just so expensive and it didn’t live up to the hype. If you know me, I love my Caudalie Beauty Elixir so much and I’m gutted I’m all out. But I replaced it with this, and it’s okay. It is a fine mit which feels good but the sprayer on the bottle feels so cheap for how expensive it is, it doesn’t smell particularly strong of anything and doesn’t feel like to does much for my skin. Just feels like I’m spraying water on my face. I’m so glad I only bought the travel sized as full price this is nearly Β£50! Once I’m out of this I’m debuting my Caudalie as I love it so much.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Not all of these products were bad, they just didn’t work well for me! Maybe they will work for you!

Thank you so much for reading πŸ’›βœ¨
