Monthly Favourites | May 2019

I can’t believe how fast these months are going. I’ve literally just got over the fact Christmas was over (I’m Buddy the Elf 2.0!! LOOOOVE Christmas!). And give it another 6 months and Christmas will be upon us! Crazy! Anyway it is time for my monthly favourites! And these are the products that stood out to me this month!

Zoeva Melody Lipgloss (Fly Away) – If I’m completely honest, I loved all of the Zoeva Melody Lipglosses this month, but I’ve definitely used this one most! It is a gorgeous sheer champagne with a pink/lilac duochrome! So gorgeous on the lips and the formula is to DIE for! Really getting back into lipgloss, and these are firmly one of the loveliest textures!

itCosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream (Fair) – SPF is so important, especially this time of year, but full coverage is also important to me! I like the appearance of a blank canvas, even though my skin isn’t entirely problematic. And this is perfection! Natural skin like finish, while delivering high high coverage! And has a whopping SPF 50+. Awful shade range, for now, but fantastic product! If you can find your shade!

Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask – I got poorly this month, and my skin has been desperately dehydrated and dry! So this has been a lifesaver! Super nourishing without being sticky and heavy; it just feels like a great night cream! Gorgeous formula and I have been using this religiously! Really helps heal and smooth my dry skin!

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 – I was so sceptical with the thought of using acids on your skin as you learn all about harmful acids and you think, NOT ON MY SKIN! But I’ve been doing loads more research on the GOOD acids for your skin! And this has been a life saver! It does make your skin sticky, but not in a gross claggy way. More in a nourished, layer of protection and moisture kind of way! Like I said, my skin has been so dry and this has helped so much with replenishing and quenching my thirsty skin!

BH Cosmetics Floral Blush (Bahama Bronze) – This month ha been the month of discovering bronzers! And I really like this one! It’s not too warm or to cool, it is the goldilocks, “Just Right”. I apply this with a medium sized fluffy brush and contour and warm up my skin with this! I find it just gives my skin a much healthier appearance! And being pale, it is quite easy for me to look dull and sallow!

NYX Faux Whites Eyeliner (Linen) – My sleeping pattern has been all over the place. Sometimes I sleep 12 hours and feel more tired, other times I sleep 3 hours and feel energised! It’s bizarre and sometimes nap related, but not always. So my eyes have been suffering with redness and puffiness and this has been a lifesaver in making myself look more awake than I genuinely am! It’s fantastic! Stays on all day, literally, I spent a whole day wearing this and napped, and this was still on my waterline! Amazing formula, and perfect pinky/white colour, which brightens up your eyes without looking so stark as a white!

Morphe High Impact Highlighter (Spark) – This has been my go to Highlighter, not only because it is in my #projectpan buy also because it is an amazing product! It looks like it’ll be way too dark in the pan, but it is so reflective, it lightens up on the skin! I apply this with a damp brush and it seriously earns the name of High Impact! It is reminiscent of Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop by Becca But is more nude than gold! But in terms of reflection, appearance and texture it is so similar! Just the colour is different!

And those, my lovelies, are my favourite products of the month! What product has been your stand out favourite this month? Out of all of these I think The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 has been my favourite, simply because the benefits are so visible right now!

I hope you enjoyed this blog post!
