Makeup Play #2

After a rough couple of days I was feeling kind of miserable. And one thing that always lifts me up is playing with makeup. So I thought I would just go wild with colour, play with some products and see what I come up with. I hope you enjoy finding out how I created this look!

I think I’m going to replace the Movie Makeup Series with this kinda series, as I feel more inspired by just playing with makeup and creating looks than trying to copy the looks of movie stars. Plus I love horror movies, so I feel that without putty and stuff, I can’t really do those looks justice! So Makeup Play it is!

I started with my brows and used “Diamond” Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick and “Chill Pill” BHCosmetics Eyelight. I carved out my brows using Diamond and then went into Chill Pill as a shimmery over coat. I then went into my NYX White Liquid Eyeliner on the front of my eyebrows! To create a fluffy look! I then used my e.l.f. Camo Concealer as a base as I wanted it nice a and pale! I started with Diamond on my inner corner and blurred it out with a domed shadow brush. I then went in with Sugarpill eyeshadows Velocity and Mochi. I applied Velocity in the inner corner and then blended Mochi further up into the crease and above. I then went into the Jeffree Star Minibreaker Palette. And used the shade Foreplay and blended it from Velocity and under my eyes. Then I took the shade Bubblegum and blended that further under my eye, kind of below where the creases are underneath my eye. I then took Oral and applied that over Velocity but just in the tear duct. With my Clinique Pretty Easy Liquid Eyeliner in Black and created a thick wing. But I wanted to do something a bit different and looped it around my brow, kind of like a ribbon! I used Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Blow Pony on my waterline. Then with my Nyx White Liquid Eyeliner I applied little dots through the blends. I then took some glitter I got from eBay and applied the just under my eye in a circle, kind of, just to catch the light and look a bit spacey. Then applied my Eylure Dramatic 202 lashes and my Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara. But not on the lower lash line. And the look was complete!

I really loved how editorial this look looked and I felt so Sci-Fi with it, while being super glam! The Minibreaker palette is gorgeous from Jeffree Star, so I shall update you with a full review on that!

I hope you enjoyed this blog post! I’m loving doing these Makeup Plays!

Thank you so much for reading! 💛✨
