I was inspired when listening to Poison Prince by Amy MacDonald to do makeup inspired by the song. So I thought, instead of doing the actual makeup look the artist wears in the music video, what about makeup that this song inspires you to wear! So this is the series! And I hope you enjoy it! I was scrolling through my Spotify and saw this band “Tide Lines”. And was mesmerised by the thick Scottish accent while still sounding so eloquent and beautiful! This is probably my favourite song of theirs. There is are lines “I’ll see you once again” and “a thousand things I’d like to say” which to me represents feelings of regret of not expressing ones feelings to someone before departure. Be it a relative or a partner. Probably more likely a partner. A feeling I’m sure everyone has felt once. And easily relatable. But it’s just the voice, it captivated me! Such gorgeous richness and depth to the lyrics! And th reminiscence in th words, made me think of nostalgia in the summer days, where the hot days turn to rain! So wanted that to inspired this look!

I started the look with the Juvia’s Place The Douce palette! And went into the shade “Mont Blanc” all over the was lid as a muggy cloud effect. And then went into the Beauty Bay EYN Bright 9 Palette and the shade Lemonade to mix into Mont Blanc go give that hazy appearance. And then went into the shade Heat Wave. I then grabbed my NYX Vivid Brights Eyeliner in Halo and outlined a sun, and highlighted that with my NYX White Liquid Eyeliner. I took my LA Girl Shockwave Neon Eyeliner in Frsh and lined my lower water line to look like a river. And wanted a meadow on my lower lash line. So applied Granny Smith from my Beauty Bay Palette and then my NYX Vivid Brights Eyeliners in Blossom and Petal and used my NYX White Eyeliner as well. I used my Stila All Day Liquid Eyeliner to create a thick wing, kind of like some darkness about to hide the sun. And then applied some Eyelashes and mascara on the top lashes only. And the look was complete!
I hope you enjoyed this blog post! What do you think of their voices?!
