Full Review | Too Faced White Peach Eyeshadow Palette

As some of you may know, I really enjoyed the Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes. I found the texture slightly more difficult to work with, but the overall looks you could get with it was sublime! I found it very flattering on my green eyes and had a wonderful range of deep browns and baby pinks! Lovely!

So when I saw there was a SECOND edition of the peach collection 12 pan eyeshadows, I got most excited! And this one has shimmers? Yes please!

The packaging of this look is adorable and stunning. The lilac and ivory compliments each other so well and also contrasts wonderfully with the peach tones! And it does indicate the sort of things to expect in the palette. Magnetic close…lovely. And it feels very luxe to hold.

The shade range was unique. It has a lot of light to mid tone, but not many mid tone to deep shades. Which is one thing I did find difficult. Even for my fair complexion. So if you are deeper than me…you might struggle with this palette. It does have 4 shimmer shades and 8 matte shades my favourite shades are Creme De La Peach, Peach I e and Sweet Fig! Creme de la Peach is the most perfect orange creamsicle shade, with some gold glitter in there, but it is definitely a matte! If that makes sense! I find it so striking on my green eyes. Peach Ice is so unique, is it white? Silver? Who knows! But it’s stunning. Quite chunky but it does smooth out on the eyes! Sweet Fig is a lush mid tone matte taupe! And is very complimentary with most colours in this palette!

The formulas are slightly hit and miss. For example the shimmers. Peach Ice and Peaches & Dreams are very soft and pigmented. Even Peach Passion is nice! But Glistening Peach is very hardly pressed and it doesn’t really come up as vivid as it does on the pan. Which is such a shame as I was hoping it would be reminiscent to Expensive Pink from MAC. But it was very lack lustre. The mattes. It’s hard to say as they are so light I don’t know whether I was finding difficult with visibility of them because they were pale or whether they fluff away like the Just Peachy Matte palette. Only difference with the Just Peachy Mattes is that there was pigment once build up. With these, there isn’t much, but like I said, it could just be down to the shade selection being so pale.

Next I’m going to show you the looks that I created with this palette! And which shades were used for each look.

Sweet Fig, Peach Suede, On The Grill
Creme De La Peach, Peaches and Dreams,
Fuzzy, Peach Ice, On The Grill
Glistening Peach, Peach Smoothie, Fuzzy
Peach Ice, Peach Passion, Sweet Fig
Fuzzy, Peach Cream, Peach Sorbet, On The Grill, Peaches & Dreams
Cream De La Peach, Peach Suede, Peach Passion

All in all, I would describe this palette as…lack lustre. And expected something more. Which is very disappointing given the fact I bought this when I was skint and was like “it’s okay, I know I’ll like it” and really it’s just “ih”. There are some shades I adore. But the others are either way to similar to each other, or simply too pale and fluffy to show up, even on my fair complexion. So yeah. Not your best Too Faced. Not your best.

I hope you enjoyed this review! Let me know what you think of this palette! Did you feel the same?

Thank you so much for reading! ๐Ÿ’›โœจ
