Blushes are my vice. I can’t stop. I absolutely love wearing it, collecting them and everything in between. I like wearing a strong blush, which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. But it makes me feel more confident and less pale! I either go for an entirely matte blush or a very glowy blush. I don’t tend to go for a Satin or cream blush. I just do the two extremes! Matte or glow! So I thought I would show you my favourite blushes of all time and give you reasons why! I hope you enjoy!
MAC Blushes (Prism, Pinch Me, Gingerly) – MAC blushes are probably my favourite matte blush formulas! They are pigmented yet buildable and come in so many gorgeous colours. Prism is a beautiful nude brown blush however on the skin it looks like a warm rose nude. It’s so natural and gorgeous! Pinch me is one of the Sheertone blushes. And is almost a bit sunburn-y which makes me look less dull and naturally flushed. Gingerly is my favourite and is a stunning terracotta colour. It contrasts so well with my green eyes and flatters my skin tone and undertone. Absolutely gorgeous formulas and colours! Highly highly recommend!
Milani Baked Blush (Corallina) – Now. This looks obscene and scary, but it is actually the colour I naturally flush to when I do exercise or blush. So it really makes me look so healthy and lit from within. It has a swirl of champagne shimmer which isn’t too much on the skin but does enhance the glow to the flush. But the colour is just so perfect for me. It makes me look like I’ve done a 10 mile run when realistically I’ve drank 2 cups of coffee and did one sit up to turn my TV on!
Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Blush (Euphoric Fusion) – I love the formula of these blushes. They have a transparency to them which means you get your glow and colour while still seeing your freckles through it. It is beautiful and natural looking. The plummy tone is beautiful and looks warmer on the skin than it does in the pan. In the most lovely way! It enhances my green eyes, makes me look so healthy and illuminated. I’m obsessed!
I hope you enjoyed this blog post! What is your all time favourite blush?
