Makeup Play #5

I’m adoring playing with makeup again, and I have to say…I feel like this is my favourite series I’ve done. Simply because it is so freeing. I grab x amount of products and try to make a look with it! Or I get some similar coloured things, and go wild. If like today, I get a palette, and try to find things in my collection to go with it, and va va voom myself until I look like a painters palette!

I started the look with a base, this time I used my MAC Paint Pot in Painterly. The took a small pencil brush and used the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in the shade Cherry Wet and marker out down my nose a basic bird like shape, and then feathered it into my eyebrows too. I then went into Fresh Meat, from the Jeffree Star Bloody Sugar palette and set that. And feathered it into my brows again also to blend down the sides of my nose and around my brows I took the shade Prick, also from my Blood Sugar Palette (lets just make it easier and say, all eyeshadows bar one was from the Blood Sugar palette!). And took a round brush and started to buff that down the side of my nose and around the brows. I wanted an even more gradual fade so took my personal favourite shade in the palette, Tongue Pop, and blended that into Prick. To deepen up the area between Fresh Meat and Prick, I applied Cherry Soda, very lightly, which gave me that beautiful fade! I blended that gradient under my eyes and onto my temples also, and used a big fluffy brush afterwards to connect the brows seamlessly to the temples and under-eyes. I then had my whole eyelid free. I took the Colourpop Supershock Eyeshadow in Six In The City and then topped that with Sweetener, from the Blood Sugar palette. Then to deepen the outer v and slightly into my crease, I took the shade Blood Sugar and lightly blended that into Sweetener. I took my NYX White Liquid Eyeliner and feathered that over my brows and then applied false eyelashes. These…I’ll be honest, I don’t remember what they are! But they are Eylure! Finally I applied my Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara and the look was complete!

I hope you enjoyed this look. I was genuinely proud of my blending. Especially after not wearing makeup for 3 weeks!

Thank you so much for reading!mπŸ’›
