Sample Snippet | Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask

I have a drawer of so many samples and they are simply not being used because I can’t justify them for not reviewing or testing them for reviews. So I thought, why don’t I just review them in a separate series! So insert “SAMPLE SNIPPET” taa daa oooooo aaaaaaa *magical mystical music*. This way I can get a basic review, from a single use. And just a very quick and simple “did I like it or not”. I hope you enjoy this series!

When squeezing this on the back of my hand, it was a little more jelly like than expected. I liked the texture a lot more than expected. A bit more fun and goofy than I thought! On initial application it was kinda tingly, probably down to the AHA in it. It smells ABSOLUTELY phenomenal. And feels so silky on my skin! Cooling and fresh while being luxurious! However…it wasn’t as hydrating as I had hoped for. Like it’s a sleeping mask. It before I even got to sleep, it had sunk in and there was no layer left on my skin. Which I found disappointing. Could be my skin, as it’s so dehydrated, it lapped it up like a marathoner on mile 25! And my skin is so dry, and thinking about it, all the people I have read that love this are more combo/oily. It also balled up, I don’t know whether that was because of the AHA exfoliating my skin. But it did make my skin very silky! But it just was not as intensely hydrating as I had hoped! Glad I didn’t buy the full size because as much as I liked the finish, it did leave more to be desired for me! It was nice! Don’t get me wrong! It just didn’t knock my socks off!

I hope you enjoyed this mini review!

Thank you so much for reading! 💛✨
