We are in the “BER” months which means it’s nearly Christmas…okay okay let’s get Halloween out of the way first but then let me be my alter ego: Buddy The Elf 2.0!! Anyway this month I finally got back into makeup!! And loved every second of it! But these products helped me get back into it, even through the pain!
Colourpop Supershock Shadows (Goodbye Butterfly, REM) – When I first tried them first, I was unsure how I felt about them. Cream? Sheer? But oh my god I love them. They are so buildable with the most beautiful consistency and they make your eyes looks glossy and sparkly. I like them in their own for a natural look and underneath eyeshadows for intensity! REM is the most gorgeous Cornflower blue that I’m finding so hard to dupe! It is perfection! Goodbye Butterfly is a satin with a slight sheeny finish with a coral tone and some shimmer in there.
NYX Micro Brow Pencil (Taupe) – I have really struggled to carve my brows out. My pain is so bad that I shake a lot, and I’m losing my control and steady hand. So I decided to experiment with this eyebrow pencil that I bought in Edinburgh nearly a year ago. And fell in love with the ease and natural finish. I get such a fluffy appearance with my eyebrows and they look natural and frame my face wonderfully. I really like it!
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro-Powder (1 Fair) – My next friend gave me this powder as she had back ups and I mentioned I wanted to try it. It was so generous and I felt so touched! And this DID NOT disappoint! It is the most natural finish while providing coverage and luminosity while not being glittery and has the right matte-ness. It is witchcraft. Gorgeous gorgeous product!
Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Blush (Radiant Magenta) – I bought this on a whim AGES ago and tried it out for my blog post and thought “ooh that’s pretty” and it went back in the drawer. I then bought it out one day and was overwhelmed with the sheer beauty of it! Cool pinks don’t suit me. But this is different! It adds brightness to my usually dull complexion. But it isn’t so cool that it contrasts and looks off with my yellow toned skin. It is such a natural finish too, glowy without being sparkly! Radiant is the word for it!
Colourpop No Filter Concealer (04) – I will be honest…I have a concealer in my project pan I’m trying to use up…tried this…and used it over my project pan choice. Oh goodness it is wonderful! It self sets, which is wonderful as my concealer always creases into my fine lines! It is the most perfect tone for my skin, pale yellow/peach! It is lovely! Lasts so well, and doesn’t even need powdering! Delightful!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Palette – I was supposed to save this for when I run out of palettes to review. But that shade Soul….oh it called to me! A pale indigo/cornflower paired with REM is DIVINE! I also adore the shades Wild Child, Love, Celestial and Eccentric. And the shades all harmonise so wonderfully!
Caudalie Beauty Elixir – I cant believe this is appearing again. I am guilty as charged, I have a collection of mists but still felt the need to buy not one, but two of these. I did give one to my best friend, after realising I have a sickness for mists. The scent is DELIGHTFUL I’m a sucker for Rosemary and Mint! And it hydrates and tones and does the most wonderful things under and over makeup!
And those are my favourites! What is your go to product of the month? What really caught your eye and satisfied your makeup needs this month?
I hope you enjoyed this blog post!
Thank you so much for reading! 💛✨
