Lyric Inspired Makeup | Start A Fire by Ryan Star

I was inspired when listening to Poison Prince by Amy MacDonald to do makeup inspired by the song. So I thought, instead of doing the actual makeup look the artist wears in the music video, what about makeup that this song inspires you to wear! So this is the series! And I hope you enjoy it! Any song recommendations, leave a comment!

I loved this song the second I heard it! It sounds empowering and it has a great beat to it! It is very much about one thing! The line “is this love or just sexual desire” makes that very clear! But it’s intriguing how it’s viewed in a males point of view! Normally it’s women wondering between love it desire so found it nice to make it clear men also have those conflicting emotions in relationships and actions! And also worry if their feelings are growing too strong too quick!

I started the look with a base and used my MAC Painterly Paint Pot. And then went in with an all over base shadow brush and the Inglot Eyeshadow in 616 into the crease! I then went into the Inglot Eyeshadow 51 and blended that into the crease and onto the lid slightly! I then went into the Inglot Eyeshadow in shade 301 and applied that onto the lid and lower lash line! Then blended 51 and 616 on the lower lash line too! To get this fanned out warm smokey eye, representing them”fire” from the song! I then highlighted my inner corner with the Inglot Eyeshadow in the shade 26. Glitter time! I applied my eBay glitters in Fire and Citrine on my cheek and towards my lower lashes using my Revolution Glitter adhesive! For the brows I applied the BHCosmetics Eyelights in Gal Pal! And highlighted certain areas of the brows using shade 26 again! Lashes were applied, they were from eBay too! And then I applied my mascara! And the look was complete!!

I hope you enjoyed this look! What do you think of the sparkly brows?

Thank you so much for reading 💛✨
