Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick Swatches #26 | Triggered

I bloody love these liquid lipsticks and I am collecting these in practically every colour (almost). So thought I would do posts swatching these on my lips and giving individual reviews on every colour!! I have a full review on these which I shall link here > https://insidethemakeupdrawer.wordpress.com/2017/10/22/full-review-jeffree-star-velour-liquid-lipsticks/

This is a gorgeous colour and a colour I have been searching for for ages! Normally when the lipstick is this colour, when you swatch it it is actually a bit more of a deep raspberry! Not a dark dark burgundy/plum! So when I swatched this and it didn’t sheer out into a pink colour and remained the depth, I had to put it all over my lips! Immediately!

It is the classic matte formula. But it has good shimmer running through it, which is so unique! I would have expected pink glitter, to correspond with the undertones of the burgundy plum. But the gold is so striking and contrasts wonderfully! It’s just beautiful! But one thing I love about this, is when I remove it with my oil cleanser, it doesn’t stain my lips or face! It is so easy to remove, and just as you look like a kid eating a grape lollipop, it then all comes off when the oil emulsified! Goodness it is just such a wonderful colour but not high maintenance at all! It does fade off the lips, but evenly! Which is great, as it becomes a stain like finish, but on removal, it’s fast and easy!

I hope you enjoyed this blog post! What do you think of this colour?

Thank you so much for reading! 💛✨
