Project Pan Update #6

I can’t believe this is my last project pan update of the year! And we have made such great progress! I have 5 literal current pans that I’m working on. Then I have the 6 non literal pans like concealer and facial oils that don’t have a pan, but I’m including in this “using up” project! And I’m loving the process. I though it would be sad but it’s so satisfying to see products get used up, and enjoying using them rather than buying new things. And then replacing them with other things you own!

So let’s start with the literal pans. We have the following things that I have been working on, or that I have recently hit pan on that I’m going to be discussing first!

Jeffree Star Skin Frost (Dark Horse) – I panned this ages ago, but completely forgot about it and had started my project pan without thinking I could include this. I thought with there being so much product left that it didn’t count. But then thought hey, that is still pan there! And it deserves a place in this project and I’m loving using it again! It gives such an lovely bronzey sun kissed glow, and added warmth to the complexion!

No7 Stay Perfect Eyeshadow (Matte Mocha) – This doesn’t look like there is much progress but it is getting flatter. I think it’s one of those items that one minute it looks like there is no progress, and next minute it’s like, I’M ALL OUT! But this is my favourite eyebrow shade to set my pencils with! So rich in pigment and dry in texture so it adds longevity to my brows!

LA Girl Pro Contour Powder – This is making great progress. It’s getting flatter by the minute and more pan is exposed! But I’m not making much progress on my highlight shade, but I’m going to wait until my translucent powders are over and done with and use this as my setting powder!

*Not Photographed* BareMinerals Invisible Light Translucent Powder Duo – I stupidly cut it out of the picture like a mad woman to fit in my YouTube thumbnail 🙄 but this is also making good progress. I have managed to mirror the usage on both sides now so they have almost the same amount of pan showing. I’m loving the glow side a lot more now it’s winter! Whereas the matte was a staple in the summer!

Morphe High Impact Highlighter (Spark) – I am pretty darn certain this will be used up beginning of next year! I am adoring using it and if I don’t know what to reach for for my highlight or I’m not testing one out for reviews, I use this! It’s such a flattering shade with any look! An icy champagne colour. And that pan is becoming super visible now!

The Body Shop Honey Bronzer (1) – This is an oldie in my collection but a new pan! I found it in my blush and bronzer drawer in the back and decided to pop it on, and I hit pan like that! So I thought it would be a fabulous addition to my project pan and it works wonders blending out my contour and shimmery bronzer too, as they are slightly deeper, and this is a lot lighter!

Now let’s move onto the products I have used up and what I am replacing them with!

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 – This I have loved and continue to adore it! It helps lock in my moisture for longer which keeps my face nice and hydrated for longer too. I have finally used it all up, after applying frequently since receiving it in my February LookFantastic box. Since getting ill my skincare routine has become a little bit more disjointed ; sometimes being very thorough and other times just cleansing my face and jobs a good’un. But I’ve always noticed a difference when using this. I have decided to replace this, for now, with my deluxe size of my Nuxe Multi Purpose Nourishing Dry Oil. Simply because a) I want to use it up, b) I’m reaaaaally enjoying it and c) it’s super hydrating for these cold months while my skin is more chapped. I do however have a back up of Hyaluronic Acid, this time the Revolution Skincare version, just to see how it compares. But I do love this!

The Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye and Lip Makeup Remover – This is probably he third bottle of this that I have used up! I love how quick and easy it is when I’m having a bad pain day. But how thorough it is also! It’s bi-phase so it has the oil layer which helps the melting away of any makeup along with hydrating the skin and not leaving it feeling stripped! I have my Clinique Take The Day Off currently to use up as a replacement. But after that is over and done with, this shall be repurchased!

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water – This is a very basic setting spray. However it does the trick and I did very much enjoy using it while having it. And my sprayer was really funky as it would sometimes spray in odd directions and quite aggressively and sometimes spraying nothing at all. I don’t know it that has happened to anyone else but it was rather frustrating. So I wouldn’t repurchase it though as I don’t think it warrants the price for how basic it really is. Exactly how I felt about MAC Fix+. I have replaced it with my NYX Bare With Me Multitasking Spray. I am enjoying this more as it has a nice smell and seem to hydrate my skin that little bit more.

And finally onto my tubes! And how they are getting on. We have some newbies in this category too!

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks (Baby Daddy, Nathan) – These are my go to shades. Either a terracotta nude or a murky beige brown nude. And the formula of these are incomparable in my opinion! Matte but comfortable and very long wearing. And I am about a third of the way from them being completely finished, so I thought I’d include this in this project! And I’m already having to scrape so not too long until they are done with!

Colourpop No Filter Concealer (04) – This is nearly nearly nearly done! Like a few more uses and I’m gonna be out! But I have adored this concealer and will be kinda sad when this is up! It is self setting but not too drying or clingy to my dry patches. It is lightweight and blendable. It is just a delight to use. But alas! I have a lot of concealers I need to use, so I won’t be repurchasing this YET! But should I need a new concealer, this is hands down my first choice!

And that’s my project pan update! I have a YouTube video going over these as well which I’d love for you to watch as well, which I shall link here :

I really hope you enjoyed this blogpost!

Thank you so much for reading!
