Monthly Favourites | January 2020

First favourites of the year, and the start of my going “I can’t believe how fast this year is going!”. I can’t help it, I am easily impressed with the months going by, please stop your judging. Yes you, I see you there! Sipping your tea raising an eyebrow! Anyway, I shall here say divulge into the products that have impressed me this month! And I hope you enjoy reading!

Nuxe Multipurpose Nourishing Oil – This. Just this. Is probably my favourite product out of all of these products I’m mentioning! It has a smell…maybe rosemary that for me is like catnip! And it is so hydrating. I use this when my skin needs that added little pick me up of moisture and it brings it in bucketfuls! Oh it’s divine! And if you have dehydrated/dry skin and aren’t turned off by facial oils GIVE THIS A GO!

BhCosmetics BlackLight Highlighting Palette – Now you’ve heard me harp on about the DuoLight palette. Well I got this for Christmas and I have to say. Wow. This didn’t disappoint either! It has the same texture, a little more buildable in pay off though. But that doesn’t mean you can’t blind people…boy can you blind people! Very impressed, I have to say these BH palettes are not to be missed if you love highlighters!

Duo Quick Dry Glue (With Brush Tip Applicator) – Now doesn’t the brush make it so much bloody easier! And this seems to dry a hell of a lot quicker which makes eyelash application super speedy and I love that. Its so handy and may be a bit of a boring favourite, but it has very much impressed me!

Barry M Pixie Skin Blurring Primer – Now get the fact that this is supposedly skin blurring….and instead call it in your head “smoothing” then this is divine! It doesn’t blur out pores or any texture, however it does provide a great smooth base for makeup application! And I have been really enjoying using it! Would absolutely recommend! Not hydrating, but if I apply a moisturiser underneath it works great!

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick (Fudge Pop) – Now I bought this because I am loving metallic liquid lipsticks currently. But I didn’t expect to LOVE it as much as I truly do! It is so flattering on my complexion and with beautifully flattering undertones! It is absolutely gorgeous and I am so pleased I have this in my collection!

Ellie Saab Girl Of Now Perfume – Now I don’t talk about perfume very often on here because I usually stick to my usual favourites (Diesel Loverdose, Paco Robanne Black XS and Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy). But my boyfriend and I were shopping in the January Sales and I found this bad boy for under £20! And I smelt it and was absolutely blown away. It is fresh in a kinda sherbet way, but not quite so sour and harsh if that makes sense! If you the chance to smell it do, it’s lovely!

And those are my January Favourites! First one CHECK!

I really hope you enjoyed this blog post!

Thank you so much for reading! 💛✨
