First Impression | Revolution Skincare X Jake Jamie Dragonfruit Face Mask

Now if you’ve read my blog frequently you’ll know I love a face mask! And this one intrigued me as aesthetically, it is beautifully packaged, but also claims hydration and exfoliation (due to the seeds in there) to be key features. Well I was all over that, and my sister very kindly gifted me this along with three other face masks for Christmas! And I’m finally getting round to trying them!

Like I mentioned, the packaging is lovely! Very bright and colourful, while still being cohesive with the rest of the Revolution Skincare line…even more so with the Jade Jamie line! I love the sticker on the top and the signature. It is very very cute indeed!

It was thicker than expected, but I really liked that. More like a thicker butter like consistency over a gel lotion! Exceptionally hydrating due to this, which I really enjoyed. My skin was lapping up the moisture the minute it went on my face. I let it sit for around 10 minutes and then rubbed the rest of the mask into my face. The seeds in there exfoliated my face without being super abrasive and sore feeling! And having the butter with it, meant it was being nourished at the same time! The smell, for me, was very sweet and creamy smelling. Not my favourite smelling mask, but it had a fruity undertone with the creaminess that was quite pleasant.

This was how my face looks immediately after application. You can see around my nose it was soaking in lovely. This is the driest part of my face so the fact it was soaking in was great to me. It was working it’s magic! Once rinsed off my skin had a lovely nourished feeling to it. Tacky but not sticky. Just like it had been thoroughly moisturised and it had soaked in. The seeds when rinsing it off continued to exfoliate which was fab. All in all, I really enjoyed using this mask and I will continue to use it!

I really hope you enjoyed this blog post!

Thank you so much for reading! 💛✨
