Top 5 | Lip Balms

Lip balms are essential for crusty folk like myself. I have super dry lips and I adore thick and hydrating lip balms, or ones that sink in and that I can then reapply throughout the day! But I am getting into lip oils too so thought I would show you the ones that I would rate as my top 5!

Palmers Cocoa Butter Original Lip Balm – This a lovely creamy formula, and a staple in my collection! I have used this for years. I also really, like the shape being slightly thinner and more “lip” shaped, as you don’t get as much of a greasy face!

Ciate Watermelon Burst Hydrating Lip Oil – This is the newest to my collection but it is a handbag must! It is so smooth, kinda sticky, but exceptionally hydrating and it makes me feel so nourished! And it lasts! The hydration lasts and so does the layer! It is lush!

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector – This I bought in Berlin a couple of years back and I cannot get enough of it, to the point where I had to repurchase! It is such a simple lip effect! Looks like a gloss but behaves like a lip balm! All the right things to feel nourished and hydrated but with the appearance to look put together and classy!

Dr Paw Paw Multipurpose Soothing Balm – This, out of all of them, is my favourite. And cures my eczema! I have tried SO much on my eczema on my lips, from steroid creams to ointments. This is the only thing that works. And it worked in my sisters eyes too! She has really sore and chapped eyelids and this worked wonders for her too!

Hurraw Root Beer Lip Balm – This, before I delved into my Dr. Paw Paw, worked wonders also! It has all raw ingredients, hence Hurraw, and it doesn’t have anything that aggravates any soreness. No stinging at all! Love love love! Plus it smells like root beer…what more could you want!

I really hope you enjoyed this blog post! What is your favourite blog post!

Thank you so much for reading!
