First Impression | Delilah Brow Groom

Eyebrow pencils have become a go to item for me now. I used to do the super carved out eyebrows but since being unwell, I’m not steady enough to do them anymore. So I started to go into the world of eyebrow pencils and know what I like. I like a wider pencil, preferably angled and a nice deep blonde shade! So this, being wider, did intrigue me in my LookFantastic advent calendar! So I thought I’d give it a go!

The packaging is okay. It feels very lightweight and cheap, if I’m honest. And I know it isn’t a cheap brand, so if I bought this instead of received this I’d be pretty hacked off with how cheap it feels. However it is dual ended, with a nice brush and a lovely tip. So I cant stay too mad.

The formula is lovely. It is a “universal taupe” shade so is slightly deeper than I would normally go for, but I still like the appearance of it and it doesn’t look off with my colouring! I love the tip, it is a teardrop shape and had a lovely fine point at the top, for nice hair like strokes, but the rest of it is wide, so you can fill it quickly, which I really appreciate!

It isn’t a warm shade, but it isn’t totally grey which suits my colouring perfectly, even if it is a tad dark for me, but I can make it work! It is waxy so I don’t really need to set it as it sets itself, and lasts ages which is fab. It lasted through a nap which is amazing! I love how you can make it precise in the areas you need it to be precise but can fill in quickly when that is needed too. Very versatile depending on how you want to wear it!

All in all I really like it. The packaging is lightweight, cheap and kinda shitty. However the actual product is fantastic! And I’m using it over my other ones! As I really like the nib being so customisable depending on how you want to work with it! Really lovely product!

I really hope you enjoyed this blog post!

Thank you so much for reading! 💛✨
