First Impression | Lanolips Tinted Lip Balm (Rhubarb)

My lips have been so dry recently and I bought this ages ago and hadn’t really tried it, or at least it hadn’t been a memorable experience. So I tried it again. And thought I would share my experience with you!

The packaging is great. I am always a fan of the squeeze tube as it eliminates waste and makes for a far more hygienic experience. It has a slanted tip and is quite a thick texture, so does come out slowly. So you can customise how much you want to put on!

The formula, like I’ve mentioned is thick. But it melts onto the lips to a much more of a oilier consistency as soon as it warms up! It is highly nourishing and it costs the lips in the most lovely way! It Is exceptionally smooth and it makes the dryness and texture I get on my lips get eradicated pretty darn quickly! It has a tint to it, this is the Rhubarb shade and I really enjoy that it has that colour as it evens out the tone of my lips. And as I have a or of dryness I get discolouration on my lips! So it looks a lot more even in colour. It has no major scent or taste! So doesn’t give me a headache or overwhelm my senses!

As you can see it gives your lips a lovely baby pink sheen to the lips! And the shine is not too in your face, however it still makes your lips look plump and hydrated. I tend to wear this more if my lips are dry and I want to have a more finished look like a lipgloss or lipstick, but knowing I will get proper hydration to help smooth my crusty ass lips!

All in all I would recommend this is you want a lip balm/lipgloss hybrid. It has a lovely texture and a nice sheen that makes your overall look, look complete but it will functionally help soothe your dryness!

I really hope you enjoyed this blog post! Have you tried this? I want to try the lemonaid one next!

Thank you so much for reading! 💛✨
