Full Review | Revolution “Cherry Truffle” Makeup Fixing Spray

One product I go through the quickest is concealer and setting spray! So I have to make sure I have plenty of the stuff simply because I use it when I apply my highlighter and to set/prime my face, I am also a massive fan of anything Cherry, so when I saw this, I did a little squeak of joy! And it hopped into my basket!

The packaging is very basic and I’m not mad about it. The lid stays put which is a bonus as there is nothing worse than a lid that falls off all of the damn time. I mine…that is a slight exaggeration, but I digress. The spritzer is a really productive, which I enjoy. I am not a fan of a delicate mist, I want to be dowsed with the stuff! And it does just that!

The scent is like a mixture of chocolate and cherry! It’s lovely! But can lean towards the sickly side. But I don’t mind it, it is very pleasant to me. As the spritzer is vigorous, you can definitely get your face very damp! Which I like as when I apply highlighter it helps the powder and sparkle adhere and shine so well! And I love this spray for that reason alone. But it ha other attributes that I like about it too. I love that it has a tackier finish, which also helps the adherence, but helps my face feel more nourished and moisturised. However the tackiness doesn’t last all day, but it certainly lasts a fair bit. A few hours I’d say.

But the main reason I like this is that it makes my skin look like skin. It is neither dewy or matte. But it isn’t satin. I don’t know how to describe it, but it really does give an over powdered face the ability to melt into the face. And boom, your face looks like skin again! It is magical!

All in all this is a lovely, setting spray. I don’t notice it makes my makeup last longer, however my makeup never normally struggles with not lasting! But it makes my skin look lovely and feel comfortable. A perfect all round spray!

I really hope you enjoyed this blog post.

Thank you so much for reading! 💛✨
